Mrs. Jennifer Yates graduated from Troy University in 2007,
with a BS with a concentration in Accounting. Mrs. Yates has 20+ years’ experience in accounting management. Her industry experience includes both public and private accounting management in personal and corporate taxation, healthcare, hospitality, marketing, transportation, retail, new business development, agriculture, financial software conversion, and cost accounting for food/beverage implementation.

The Firm has overseen teams of accountant and management personnel, both in the corporate setting as well as those dispersed in the field, in which data compilation and financial reporting are used as tools to anticipate and generate measurable improvements to its clients. This process engages reporting tactics that mitigate operational and strategic risk, free up capital, maximize the balance sheet while controlling expenses which effectively manage the firm's tax rate. The Firms' background provides the knowledge and ability to ensure a process of accuracy in data collection and reporting as well as presentation of the information to the business owners and shareholders.
P and L Financial Solutions, LLC. has managed the reporting requirements for the Department of Commerce BTOP grant, as well as many State and City grants, working very closely with the Project Managers, confirming the actual to budget allocations comparatively with the projections and suggesting budget modifications as project scope was solidified throughout the completion of the work. Mrs. Yates worked as Liaison with external grant writers and external accounting firms to confirm the accuracy of the reports of our clients. Mrs. Yates has also researched, assisted in writing, and has been an active participant in assisting several non-profit clients that were awarded grants from various organizations throughout Alabama for outreach programs.
P and L Financial Solutions, LLC. is dedicated to staying actively engaged with the business owners and members of the financial community to ensure a thorough understanding of the company’s financial position and which helps to confirm the integrity of the data and reporting. The Firm has also designed and co-managed multiple corporate initiatives with the distinct purpose of budgeting and streamlining costs through creating procedures for accurate reporting for existing businesses as well as working closely with the SBA assisting new businesses with this same focus. The Firm has relationships with CPA firms throughout Montgomery to aid in preparing certified reports.
